The Exquisite Corpse is a game that was invented by the french surrealists. It is a collective game where multiple players have to create a full sentence or a drawing.
You will need paper and a pencil.
Exquisite Corpse Sentences :
Cut a strip of paper.
Each player writes a word on it, then folds it so that what they wrote is hidden. Usually, the first player writes a name, then the others follow up with a verb, a place, an adjective, an adverb… You can imagine anything !
When everyone has written their word, unfold the paper and discover what sentence was created !
Exquisite Corpse Drawings :
You can use a full sheet of paper.
The first player draws a head and its neck. He folds the paper and allows the lines of the neck to appear so that the next player can draw a torso, and the last one legs and feet.
You can also start from the bottom and create imaginary creatures !
Unfold the paper and discover your character !
This is a really funny game that can bring the whole family together and develop everyone’s creativity !
